3M micropolishing films for soft rounding.
These extremely thin plastic films, on which the diamond layer is applied, are perfect for cabochon production and wherever curves are to be created or flat spots are to be removed/avoided, such as with ring stones, cabochons, pendants, earring stones, etc.
The films are self-adhesive. They are very effective, but you have to be careful at the beginning not to "catch" too much of the stone. A foam rubber disc should be placed under this grinding film (see polishing discs), then with a little practice a few turns with the stone are enough to start enjoying it.
