Faster than the galvanized solid drill!
When drilling, the question arises: How many stones do you drill per year?
For some pieces (e.g. 30-50 stones per year) "normal" equipment is sufficient. (Own drill rig machine and the centering device below). Only when there are large numbers of drills do special drilling machines, adapters with water supply and drills with arbors become worthwhile.
Therefore much cheaper and also efficient for occasional drilling - our suggestion:
For use with all common, mostly existing drills/pillar drills. No adapter required. The drill is placed gently and carefully under water so that the hole is created. The drill is then repeatedly "lifted" from the stone and drilled again. (Always gently!) When you reach the middle, the stone is turned over and placed on a centering pin and drilled from the other side. The hole meets in the "middle". Simple - Easy....
It is important that you drill from both sides to avoid breaking out on the back. I supply the "WASMER centering device" to prevent this. This allows you to drill with minimal risk. Speed from 3000 rpm.
