Stone Saw Goliath 450 for Core Drills

The Goliath 450 Core Saw is a specially further developed version of the proven Goliath 450 Standard. The robust and durable machine design of the standard saw forms the basis of the construction, which has been specifically adapted for use as a core saw. The machine was specially developed for the precise sawing of core samples and is ideally suited for cross-section cuts of rock, concrete, and asphalt core samples with a diameter of up to 110 mm.

The Goliath 450 is designed as a powerful core cutting saw for professional use in construction material laboratories, geotechnical engineering, petrography, as well as in geological and material technology testing laboratories. Due to its stable construction and high cutting accuracy, the machine is optimally suited for sample preparation and material analysis. Especially in applications where exact cross-sections are required, the machine convinces with its precise guidance and secure workpiece clamping.

The machine features a specially developed three-jaw clamping device that securely fixes the core. The clamping device is guided by two massive guide rods. This double guide reliably prevents tilting or jamming during the feed of the stone clamp and ensures a particularly smooth and precise cutting movement. In combination with the stable construction, a very straight and clean cut is achieved.

The specially designed support surface of the clamp minimizes breakouts when completely cutting through the core. This makes the machine ideal as a precision saw for core samples and sensitive core samples. The combination of robust mechanics, precise guidance, and high-quality diamond cutting technology makes the Goliath 450 a reliable laboratory saw for core and rock samples.

Thanks to its versatile applications, the core saw is used in construction material testing, tunnel construction, road construction, and geological investigations, among others. The machine also offers optimal conditions for applications in the field of core sample sawing and petrographic examination. The integrated wet cutting function supports efficient cooling of the diamond saw blade and simultaneously ensures reduced dust development during the cutting process.
