NEW speed control for Goliath 450
This allows the speed of the saw blade shaft to be continuously adjusted from 200 - 1000 RPM. The advantage is that hard stones such as Agate, Jasper The entire quartz group can be cut at a speed of 300 to 500 RPM. In combination with medical-grade white oil as a coolant, this results in a very nice cutting surface and significantly protects the blade while keeping cutting times short.
The saw is delivered with a mechanically bonded (diamonds pressed into the cutting edge) German precision saw blade (standard).
Alternatively, you can also choose a sintered saw blade. This saw blade achieves a clean cut with a good surface and a significantly longer service life. Saw blade thickness 1.6 mm. Sintered height 10 mm.
We recommend the sintered saw blade for stones up to Mohs hardness 6.5 at 1000 rpm. For stones above hardness 6.5 (entire quartz group, etc.), the mechanically pressed saw blade with approx. 500 rpm is preferable.

Cutting is done with pure cooling oil for very hard stones or with a 1:8 cutting oil-water suspension. The cooling fluid is located in the tank, or can be supplied with water from the domestic water supply and a double injection into the cutting gap.
